My primary aim in writing this book was to reveal the true face of Shi'ism, a face largely unknown to many Sunnis, relying on their own original sources and reference books, which the book draws upon in several places. This is in addition to exploring the Shi'a propaganda model, with its religious and political dimensions, through the satellite channels that Shi'a today possess and employ forcefully to serve their ideological purposes. The goal is to warn against the erroneous ideas and corrupt beliefs contained in the discourse of these channels, ideas that have no relation to sound Islamic doctrine. I also aimed to provide a precise scholarly analysis of the relationship between the Sunni Egyptian public and these satellite channels, an area that has not been extensively explored before. For a long time, discussions about the dangers of Shi'a expansion via satellite channels have been limited to examining the content of what is presented on Shi'a channels, without attempting to understand its impact on the target audience. Finally, I attempted to offer a specialized critical and evaluative perspective on these channels and their potential influence on the Sunni public, drawing on the expertise of Egyptian specialists. This aimed to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the Shiite propaganda phenomenon in all its dimensions and from all relevant perspectives. The book's title, "e;Shiite Propaganda: From the Imam's Crypt to the Jurist's Throne,"e; was chosen to represent both the starting point and the endpoint of Shiite propaganda. The Shiites launch their propaganda from the doctrinal sources and roots of their ideology, symbolized in the book as the "e;Crypt of the Awaited Imam"e; in Samarra. This propaganda aims to achieve its ultimate goal: the establishment of a Shiite Mahdist state, symbolized in the book as the "e;Jurist's Throne"e; in Tehran.
