Bereshith Bara Elohim In Beginning God Created

From the Bible's perspective, mankind is approaching 6,000 years of human history since the Genesis 1 creation, with the last 4,344 years having occurred since the flood waters of Noah's day. However, when compared to the eternality of the Godhead of Elohim, the plurality of God, encompassing God the Father, God the Son, and the God the Holy Spirit, who has never not been, man's six thousand years of world history amounts to but a single grain of sand on the world's largest beach! So why did God begin creating? In fact, why did He have to create anything? After all, He is the Lord God Most High and the only sovereign God there is! So was God lonely? Did He need something He didn't already have? What was God's reason for having Genesis 1:1 penned by Moses?
