Before the Ashes

Even in hell, love dares to bloom. At the Demiurge Academy—where young godlike beings learn to create, shape, and judge entire worlds—one lesson leaves an indelible scar. Within a conjured projection, students are drawn into the lives of Lira and Viktor, two gifted teenagers caught in a twisted magical experiment that hurls them into humanity's darkest hour: Auschwitz.Lira, the brilliant yet isolated daughter of cold perfectionists, and Viktor, a forgotten orphan scarred by cruelty, find in each other the first spark of care and connection. Their bond is tentative at first—shared glances, quiet support, moments of comfort in a bleak world. But as the world around them collapses, and as they are stripped of their identities, magic, and safety, their relationship deepens into something achingly pure.In the heart of a death camp, where hope seems a crime and love a fantasy, Lira and Viktor hold on to each other—not just to survive, but to remember what it means to feel alive. Through whispered words, fleeting touches, and unspoken promises, their love becomes rebellion—against dehumanization, against despair, and against a future written without their consent. Before the Ashes is a dark and deeply emotional exploration of young love forged under impossible pressure. It is a haunting tale of resistance, tenderness, and sacrifice—told with brutal honesty and unexpected beauty. Not intended for minors.
