WOLLBAU vereint künstlerische Projekte sowie kunsthistorische und kulturanthropologische Texte über das Schaf und die Wollverarbeitung. Obwohl Rohwolle als ein nachwachsender Rohstoff unglaublich vielseitig einsetzbar ist, wird sie seit einigen Jahren eher als wertloses Material wahrgenommen und entsorgt. Although raw wool is an incredibly versatile renewable resource, in the last years it has been perceived and disposed of as a worthless material. Folke Köbberling uses wool in large quantities and develops architectural situations in order to create a new perspective on this great fiber material and to anchor it more firmly in architecture, in public space and thus in society. In addition to interdisciplinary background texts, the book is supplemented by photos, experimental setups and DIY instructions for self-assembly.
