To save his people, Daniel initiates the ultimate high-stakes gambit. Training six hun dred human survivors to command six colossal five-hundred-meter battlecruisers, they must brave the ancient Time Matrix rings on the alien world of Makuyu, sever the doorway behind them with nine hundred kilotons of nuclear firestorm, and execute an emergency combat drop directly into the Kansas prairie.

With NORAD on high alert, a covert rural livestock heist underway to seed a virgin colo ny, and a heartbreaking reunion with the woman who held his heart through the hor rors of the void, Daniel must make the ultimate soldier's choice.

They cannot stay on Earth. They can never look back.

To give fifteen thousand souls their past, Daniel McKenzie and his volunteer crew must burn into the deep black-and forge a brand-new future among uncharted stars.
