Praise received for This Too:

"Every poem in Julia Fehrenbacher's newest collection, This Too, leads us back to the true self that is our home, urging us to hold it all tenderly, as we learn to embrace this contradictory, often difficult life more fully, with arms and heart wide open. These welcoming poems show us how to live in the space between gloom and glory, so that, no matter the darkness that surrounds us, we can always find our way to that eternal something/that keeps whispering us toward life. This book is a porch light left burning long into the night, a beacon that guides us back to the essential light we find inside ourselves."

- James Crews, author of Breathing Room and The Sacred Everyday

"I am grateful for these humble, hopeful, vital poems full of failure and connection, doubt and resilience, tenderness and urgency. With generous vulnerability, Julia Fehrenbacher turns us again and again toward the world that is here. I love her voice. I love these poems. I love seeing the world through her words."

- Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer, author of The Unfolding and host of The Poetic Path

"Reading This Too: Words To Walk You Home felt like a prayer, a soothing conversation with my soul. Each poem was a deep breath; so many of them brought on a gasp, a nod, a smile. Fehrenbacher is at once vulnerably honest and deeply hopeful, everything you want in a poet. The book read like a hundred versions of the truth, each a celebration of living in all its darkness and light. At once wildly profound and minimalistically essential, Julia Fehrenbacher's poems are the kind you'll want to read again and again."

- Julie Barton, New York Times bestselling author of Dog Medicine, How My Dog Saved Me From Myself
