"The year you were born, you shined through the dark to light up my heart.
All for you, all for you.
We faced each day, unknowns along the way, all for you I do."
'The Year You Were Born celebrates love that lit up the dark in 2020-2022. Anyone who welcomed a child during the pandemic can relate to the experience of 'joy in the middle of a mess' as described in the book. A keepsake to remember this moment in history, read together aloud with the little one who's birth was the best thing of all that happened.
Now available, this is the perfect gift for anyone who welcomed a child in 2020 or is expecting children even now in 2022.
After months of isolation and navigating an uncertain medical landscape, author Abigail Rose welcomed her first child in September, 2020. To process and celebrate her feelings from the experience, she wrote a poem to pair with a photo album, which she then turned into hand painted and cut illustrations mixed with drawn digital graphics.
