The Spirits Court

When Thane is convicted of murdering his wife, Desdemona, he believes his life is over. He remembers the rage-but not the terrible act itself. What he doesn't know is that his trusted friend and lawyer, Jameson, manipulated him with supernatural drugs, using jealousy and deception to push Thane into committing the murder so Jameson could take what belonged to him.

But death does not end Desdemona's search for justice.

She awakens in The Spirits Court, a supernatural courtroom ruled by Amnon, an ancient spirit of vengeance and justice who can see the truth hidden from mortal courts. Amnon exists to bring peace to the dead, but Desdemona convinces him that the living also deserve his judgment-especially innocent people who have been failed by the legal system.

Thane soon finds himself helping prisoners who claim they were wrongly convicted. One by one, their cases are brought before Amnon. The innocent are given a chance at freedom, while the guilty discover that there is nowhere to hide when their judge can see their past, present, and future. Alongside Amnon stands Alvar, his warrior-angel executioner, enforcing the court's sentences with supernatural power.

Yet Thane begins questioning whether absolute justice is truly justice at all. If Amnon knows everything, should one being have the power to decide who deserves freedom, punishment, or death? The Spirits Court may correct the failures of human law, but its methods force Thane to confront the dangerous line between justice and vengeance.

Meanwhile, Jameson realizes that Amnon knows the truth about his crimes. Desperate to escape judgment, he turns to the mysterious Dante, voodoo magic, and demonic forces in an attempt to destroy the court. What begins as a supernatural battle for justice erupts into a war involving spirits, angels and thousands of demons.

In the end, Jameson must finally answer for everything he has done. Thane and Desdemona are given the opportunity to move forward together, while Amnon prepares to spread his supernatural court beyond its original boundaries.

The Spirits Court is no longer only a place where the dead receive justice. Now, its judgment is coming for the living.

And when Amnon's hammer falls, court is in session.
