The Sarai Legacy

We call ourselves followers of Christ, yet our actions often betray us. We speak of grace and mercy but walk as though fear were our master. Faith is the substance of things not seen, yet too often we live as though sight were the only measure of truth. This contradiction is not hidden; it is exposed in the way we confess one thing and practice another.

This book is written to reveal the mercy that abides even when faith falters. For the greatest scandal is not unbelief itself, but the hypocrisy of claiming belief while refusing to walk in it. Such a posture makes us appear worse than liars, for we cloak fear in the language of faith.

The Sarai Legacy is the story of mercy that outlasts unbelief. Sarai looked for promise through disbelieving action, reaching for a son by her own design. Yet God did not abandon His word. Isaac was born, because God is faithful. Her legacy is the testimony that divine mercy endures human weakness.

Sarai laughed when she heard that she would bear a son in her advanced age. Her laughter reflected her disbelief. Yet Isaac was born. Do we not laugh in the same way when God speaks His word over our lives? We hear His promise, yet we measure it against our weakness, our circumstance, our fear and we dismiss it as beyond reach.
