Blinded at birth, thirteen-year-old Deacon, an enthusiastic practicing Biblicist, is visited by the angel Gabriel, who receives an amazing gift and divine tome called the Book of Knowledge. With the help of his adopted mother Ana, Deacon has four years to prepare for his mission. The warrior archangel Michael is assigned to be Deacon's companion and guardian on this unprecedented mission, and he finds unexpected personal transformation. Deacon's mission? After thousands of years, Lucifer's right hand regrets the part he played in the exile from heaven and is out for revenge on his former friend and boss. Successfully raising an army of Lucifer's former supporters allows Beel to put his murderous plan into motion.
