The Complete Cybersecurity Library
Twenty-four self-contained guides in four parts: Foundations; Designing and
Governing Secure Systems; Detection, Response and Analysis; and Authorized
Security Assessment.
From Linux, networking and scripting to cloud, IoT and AI/ML security, incident
response, forensics, malware analysis and penetration testing, written to help you
understand how systems fail and how to defend them.
About This Collection
This volume brings together twenty-four practical guides on cybersecurity into a single reference.
Each guide is a complete book in its own right, so you can start with whichever one matches the
problem in front of you.
How it is organized. The books are grouped into four parts. Part I covers the foundations: security
principles, Linux, networking, scripting and software security. Part II covers how secure systems
are designed and governed. Part III covers detection, incident response and analysis. Part IV
covers authorized security assessment. Readers new to the field should work through Part I first
and then follow their interests.
A note on page numbers. The continuous number at the foot of every page belongs to this volume
and is the one used in the Contents and in the PDF's navigation pane. Inside each book you will
also see that book's own running page numbers and its own table of contents and index. Those
internal references point to the book's original numbering, but the links in them remain clickable
in the PDF.
Overlap is intentional. Because each book stands on its own, some topics, such as threat modeling,
incident handling or the penetration-testing methodology, are treated in more than one place, from
different angles.
Use it responsibly. Several of these books describe how attackers work so that defenders can
recognize and stop them. Practise only on systems you own or are explicitly authorized in writing
to test, work inside a properly isolated lab, and follow the laws and policies that apply to you.
