SpellBound and Broken

Magic always demands a sacrifice.

Three centuries ago, the Nightbyrd Coven barely escaped burning at the stake. Only for their leader Margery Mathais to cast aside the interest of a very powerful Alchemist. In spite, he cast a curse, stripping them of their power, binding their magic in shadows and along with a cruelty no one should know. Love will never be a pillar in their lives.
Any man who loves their descendant, who tries to build a life with one of them...will die the moment their child inhales that first breath. There is a chance for the curse to be lifted, every 25 years the heirs gather in Salem to participate in trials.
Each desperate to end the curse before it claims the next generation.
But Zephrya Mathais didn't come to break the curse- she came to unravel it. All Hallows Eve is approaching, the time when the veil between worlds is at its lowest point so when a romance ignites between her and Aeron- a man she should never love. The lines between fate and free will begin to blur.

To reclaim their magic, someone will have to pay the price.
To end the curse, someone will have to break.
