Saying Yes

I've always had a life plan: go to college then law school, land a job at a prestigious law firm, get married to my college boyfriend in a big, but tasteful, wedding, have a house in the suburbs with a white picket fence and at least two brilliant, well rounded children. 

Then everything fell apart.

When my best friend, Cassie, suggested I pivot and try the "saying yes" plan, I realized I didn't have anything else to lose. That's how I found myself as a delivery driver for Pete's Pizza the summer before leaving for law school and delivering pizza to the hottest guy I'd ever laid eyes on...but can I say yes to him when we have very different plans for our futures?

My sole focus for the past several years has been on getting my company, Blaine Construction, off the ground. All the hard work is about to pay off big time in the form of some very big, very lucrative contracts. I can't let my focus waver.

However, that has grown increasingly difficult since getting a pizza delivered by a tiny, curvy, brunette driver from Pete's Pizza. She seems to be all I can think about, even though I don't have time for dating or the drama that goes with it.

Things take a turn when the beautiful brunette and I agree to see each other until the end of the summer when she leaves for law school. With a definite end date in place for our summer fling, it's not like I'm going to catch feelings for her. I'm not a 'feelings' type of guy. At least I wasn't...until her.
