California Girl Pam's SECOND truly wild travel trek.

After her 3 years solo backpacking in "When in ROAM," Pam's gotten herself lost again.
In "Roaming Oceania," she fumbles her way through the Canary Islands, England, France, Easter Island, Tahiti, Moorea, Fijian Islands, Western Samoa, New Zealand, Australia, Mexico, the Bahamas, and road trippin' the USA.

We turn on our flashlights and the ocean comes alive with nocturnal creatures moving about.
Hey, is that a large red octopus?! Why, YES, it is!
I let go of my friend Lucy's grasp as I hover directly above the octopus. He's nervous to see me, inking a black cloud at my face. I shine my light on him, kick twice to keep up, and there he is, acting like he lives
here and I'm intruding. I watch with glee as he moseys along, his tentacles poking into the rocks and corals
of his undersea world.
I finally look up, grinning, pointing him out for Lucy.
Wait... where is Lucy?
I shine my flashlight all around. She's not there.
Wait... where is ANYONE?!
The opaque blackness of Oceania stretches on for 3.291 million square miles.
I'm rapid panic-breathing at the thought of me... deep in the ocean... at midnight... ALONE.
