'Reimaging Higher Education in India and UK' explores facets of pedagogy and andragogy in higher education, especially with the advent of a disruptor as generative AI. The author explores the essence of higher education in the UK and in India with a comparative lens, trying to reimagine the best for the future of HE, towards building a future-ready global institutions. When access to knowledge ceases to be a problem, the entire model then becomes dependent on three A's - Accessibility, Accuracy and Authenticity. Accessibility makes higher education a mainstay for fast learning, most of the times at the cost of authenticity and accuracy. Reimagining higher education cannot only be about introducing new technologies and teaching methods. In the habit of fast learning, sometimes meaningful change begins by questioning what has become too familiar to notice. Slow learning is simply an argument for protecting those parts of education that need time: reading carefully, thinking independently, listening to another person, struggling with a difficult idea and occasionally changing one's mind.
