Language, ethnicity and intergroup relations are enormously complex concepts in multicultural settings.This study explores the different manifestations of strong ethnic feelings and its impact on intergroup relations.The strong language and ethnicity relationship in a multilingual setting urges ethnic groups to magnify their difference and to demarcate their boundaries.
