With around 2,000 illustrated entries, it documents Bertram's varied career from his earliest beginnings, through his exploration of classical modernism whilst studying in Johannes Geccelli's class at the Berlin University of Visual Arts (today UdK Berlin), to his architecturally-inspired large-format charcoal drawings, and the figurative elements in his most recent works.
