Grow Up

I am speaking to you who are suffering from great sorrow because of a loss in your life. My wish is that reading these pages will bring you immediate comfort; I want to accompany you in your loneliness, in your sadness which, sometimes, can border on interior distress.
I would like to support your hope to heal and grow with the testimonies of people who have been successful in their grief. In addition, I offer you suggestions and advice, ignoring the maxim that the "good" advisor should not give advice. May the warmth of my presence make you forget that I am advising you.
As the wounded organism mobilizes all its healing forces, so it is with the psychism damaged by bereavement. He has everything in him to heal you and make you grow. Let your inner Healer work in you who will do everything to come to your help. Trust in his wisdom: your pain will go away; life will appear even more precious to you; an unsuspected deep happiness will drive away the distress.
You will become both more yourself and more human to others.
To speed up your healing, I invite you not to deny your pain, but to recognize it without false shame. Thus, you will facilitate your healing. With it, you will discover in yourself a new maturity and a greater possibility of loving.
