After barely surviving Antithesis at the Shadow Lake Docks, Project Barricade can no longer hide in the shadows. Exposed to the world and branded as heroes by some and dangerous vigilantes by others, they must clear Persevere's name before the Mandiri tighten their grip on Old Belmont.

But every lead pulls them deeper into the web that Veka has constructed. Every bittersweet victory brings another chilling secret of the corruption that has its claws deep within the city's foundation.

For Tony, the fight is becoming dangerously personal. Haunted by nightmares of the monster he could become and consumed by vengeance for everything he's lost, he finds an unexpected reason to hope. He meets Shay briefly after a strange dream about her, and, for the first time, he starts to see a future beyond being Persevere.

Now Tony stands at the crossroads he was warned about. His window to save Antithesis is becoming slim, an old evil builds within the city, and he is on the verge of finding out the secret behind his powers.

To save Old Belmont, Persevere must choose whether to become a symbol of hope...or to enact a vengeance that could make him the monster he fears.
