I met a woman in an ally while she was being assaulted by a bunch of punks. My body was sore, my brain was a mess and yet when I saw her that day everything changed.

I never noticed the shifts in my mood but she kept getting under my skin like a disease you cant get rid of, like a sickness that carries through to every limb. She absorbed my thoughts. She made me feel things that I never wanted or needed.

She red hair is all I can see when I close my eyes, the image of her in that red silky dress. The picture of her in the living room looking out the window with a dark twinkling cityscape as her background. This image is burnt into my brain, she has left me feeling that I can't live this life without her. My heart aches, my knees wobble. I want to collapse and fall to the ground in defeat.

Now she's been taken, along with my sister. My flesh and blood.
