DESERVED!? is a story of loss and revenge. A cerebral journey through the deep secrets of survivor's remorse and revenge. Two teenagers discover each other's most guarded secret. Join Tommy and Freddy as they navigate the course of action that must be taken. When no other avenue presents itself, the boys must take matters into their own hands.

DESERVED!? explores the all-consuming mental anguish as both boys struggle to accept their decision. It tells of the emotional damage they did not realize would haunt them the rest of their lives. It tells of the shame and guilt that ruins entire families, along with the survivor.

DESERVED!? is a testament to first responders and Mandatory Reporters. It falls to them to decide the burden of proof needed to risk ruining what could be an innocent life.

DESERVED!? dives deep into grooming, trafficking, abduction, and the ways predators manipulate and use their victims' shame as a shield. It brings to light abduction and trafficking in the present time.

DESERVED!? is a work of fiction based upon my own journey as a CSA survivor. It has been written in my mind for the last 40 years, put to page in the last three years. Those 40 years have plagued me with "What Ifs."

DESERVED!? finds enemies and friends together for a common goal. It reveals the difficulty of going undercover in the hills and hollows of the Mountain State.

DESERVED!? is "an intense read," according to my editor. It is an intense subject.

There is violence and the usage of the vernacular of the times represented. There is substance usage and abuse in line with the culture.

What there is NOT are any detailed scenes of abuse on children. I can not write them. I will leave the details to the reader. 

This book includes plot twists that will keep the pages turning.
