Eight years after fleeing Germany, Lukas Ley has found refuge in the United States. But eighteen-year-old Lukas is eager to leave his family and girlfriend behind if it means he can finally fight back against the Nazi regime that murdered his father. Unfortunately, a failed physical throws his dream of flight school off course. Unlike his war-hero older brother, Lukas's purpose is unclear. His only hope of survival is to hold tightly to his faith in God and the support of his fellow prisoners. But will doing what it takes to survive damage his soul behind repair?
