Sandy Holt admits he had no talent for fighting or martial arts. As a ginger child who was small for his age, he faced relentless bullying. He left school with few qualifications, so he was hardly academically gifted.
Yet this ordinary man from Bolton has lived an extraordinary life as a Muay Thai fighter, coach, and international commentator. Now in his sixties, he is still breaking world records for press-ups and sit-ups.
BOSH! is no fight-by-fight memoir. It's life according to Sandy-thrills, spills, and the old-school lessons of persistence, humility, and making the right life choices. Old school for the new school.
