Benito

Benito has spent much of his life working hard in the beautiful towns of Italy. From delivering newspapers and driving a taxi to working in a paper company and tending lemon orchards along the Amalfi Coast, he has always done whatever was necessary to support his family.

Now, approaching sixty, Benito feels that his body is no longer willing to keep up with the work he once loved. He makes a life-changing decision: to leave Amalfi and return to Positano, the town where he was born.

But returning home is not as simple as he imagined.

His wife, Marriana, has built a successful catering business in Amalfi. Their children, Maurice and Lisbeth, have their own lives in Rome and Amalfi. Moving back to Positano means leaving behind familiar customers, routines, and the life they have built together.

With love, determination, and a little faith, Benito finds a new way forward. He discovers a small place near Spiaggia Grande where Marriana can begin again with her cooking.
