Battle Tupi

Synopsis: War is brewing between the US and China as the world begins running out of oil, and the Chinese try to take what is left in the deep-water Tupi Field off the coast of Brazil. The Chinese sent an armada through Drake's passage at the tip of South America after killing all our spy satellites and disabling all our computers with the Ginwui rootkit. We find them with liquid methane-powered Aurora spy planes, but they drop off at Porto Alegre a squadron of fearsome DF-21 missiles called carrier killers, which can kill a carrier at 1500 miles.

The book details: the US nuclear raid on Xichang satellite launch center; US Virginia class stealth submarines that take out the practically invisible Kilo-class Chinese subs and the Chinese boomers; FEL laser weapons that melt the arming and ignition system of the 5 kiloton nuclear warhead of the DF-21 ASBM fired at the USS Nimitz; MARSOC raiders that use an insect swarm of drones to find the Chinese ASBM hidden in warehouses at Porto Alegre; Ricky getting put in hack for telling the brass he would lead the second raid on the ASBMs; the brass relenting after they figure out what he was saying was true; Ricky, J.J. and Carmen figuring out a strategy to overcome the unique anti-stealth radar system defense of the missiles; Ricky leading a raid that took out the ASBMs; and Carmen nuking three fleeing Chinese carriers with their own DF-21 missiles that were hid in the woods.

Autobiography: Ronald C. Fish, BSEE, JD, is a practicing patent attorney specializing in high-tech electronics and software. He spent the bulk of his career in Silicon Valley and now lives in Scottsdale. He is a pilot and has an instrument rating and is a retired Marine Officer.
