Brett Dallis has been playing for the New York Wanderers franchise since he became a professional football player right out of college. He likes his routine, and his privacy, and the media have effectively grown so bored of his lack of social life that they leave him alone. That is until a video of him singing and dancing at a concert goes viral, and everyone starts speculating about his relationship status with renewed fervor.

Having never met before and speaking mainly through agents and publicists, Phoebe and Brett go through the motions of denying any connection, until one night they finally run into each other, and everything changes.
