Aided Augmentative Communication for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders is an essential resource for professionals to assist them in determining what types of systems are available for promoting functional communication in individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and complex communication needs (i.e., those who cannot speak or whose speech is unintelligible).
