Second time lucky?
Bookshop owner Susan doesn't need a man to be happy - been there, done that. But despite her contented life in magical Lulmouth Bay, is something missing? Or is she just worried about the bookshop's odd behaviour?
Thirty years ago, factory manager Caspar left Lulmouth behind after Susan decided to travel the world without him. But when his boss tasks him with moving the business there, revisiting old haunts reminds him of the magical skills he's neglected for so long - and that lost youthful romance.
Susan thinks Caspar's too sensible. Caspar thinks Susan's too flighty. But she can give him business advice and he might be able to sort out her shop. And of course they can just be friends - or can they?
As the bookshop becomes increasingly erratic and an unexpected dragon complicates matters, feelings run high. Were Susan and Caspar right to part all those years ago? Or can they make love work second time around?
A Tale of Books and Potions is the third book in the Lulmouth Bay fantasy romcom series.
