Freedom

All Dan wanted was to celebrate his anniversary in the beautiful Freedom Hotel with Judith, his loving wife of 13 years.

 The Freedom was an important place for them, a place of special thoughts and happy memories. Yet, from the moment they entered the lobby Dan realized that something was different. They had celebrated their anniversary there only three years earlier, and now it seemed the hotel he loved was pushing him away, telling him to leave while he still could.

 Dan didn't listen.

 Then the hallucinations began, if they were hallucinations, and with them memories, which were not all happy memories. Taunting, tormenting, chasing his sanity and causing him to remember things he didn't want to remember, and perhaps do things he didn't want to do.

As from a siren of a forgotten life, Dan was being dragged down into a world he could not see, by a Melody so strong he could not pull away.

Was his future already formed for him by this past he could not remember?

Would Dan be able to escape before he was pulled down for good?

Even if he found the answers, would Danny ever be allowed his Freedom?
