Bloodlines is one poet's exploration, through dreams, visions, imagination, and perhaps collective memory, of his relationship with the ancestors-the known and the unknown-those who left cave-homes, left cave-paintings like snap-shots of their lives and the creatures they shared those lives with. Whether we have a hand print or a finger print to go on, we have a clue, these poems show us, how we became who we are.
